In February 2012, The Hikmah Club’s keynote speaker was James Brokenshire, Conservative MP for Old Bexley and Sidcup and Minister for Security at the Home Office that grants him a seat on the National Security Council. Before entering Parliament James was a partner at a large international law firm where he advised a range of companies, businesses and financial institutions. The event was sponsored by Ernst and Young.
