Meet The Team
Executive Director Haroon Moghul comes to The Forum for Change with a vision for North American and European networks of like-minded, thoughtful and dynamic thought leadership. A faculty member at The Shalom Hartman Institute, where he also builds Muslim-Jewish engagement, Moghul is widely featured in American media (including CNN, FOX News and MSNBC). He writes for CNN, Haaretz, The Guardian, Washington Post and Foreign Policy, among others; he is the author of two previous books, and an upcoming memoir, How to be A Muslim: An American Story (June 2017). Moghul is a Senior Fellow at the Center for Global Policy, and was previously a Fellow at the Center on National Security at Fordham Law School and in the New America Foundation’s National Security Studies Program. A member of the Multicultural Audience Development Initiative at New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art, Moghul is also a highly sought-after speaker and commentator.

Muddassar Ahmed - Chairman of the Board (United Kingdom)
Muddassar is President and Founder of the Concordia Forum and leads Unitas Communications, a British public relations consultancy, leading projects for the UN, US State Department and OIC, amongst others. He’s also President of the John Adams Society, the UK’s official US State Department’s IVLP Association. He’s a Director of the European Network of American Alumni. He’s also a Fellow at the Royal Society of Arts, a Member of the US Atlantic Council and a NATO YA Fellow. He recently completed a term as an Independent Advisor to the UK Government on UK Muslim communities and was recently listed by Georgetown University and RSCIS as amongst the 500 most influential Muslims globally.
